[eng] A company is a constituent entity to seek some type of benefit. The lucrative
companies mainly look for the economic benefit and the nonprofit companies
mainly look for the social benefit. The most common legal forms when creating
a non-profit organization are foundations and associations. Nonprofit entities
have their own legislation.
Account analysis is based on the study, through indicators, of the annual
accounts of the entities. There are differences when it comes to preparing and
analyzing the annual accounts of a lucrative or non-profit entity. The lucrative
entities focus on giving information about their economic benefit, whereas for
non-profit organizations it is more necessary to inform about their purposes,
activities, programs or services, and the benefit they bring to society.
Therefore, when doing an analysis, the indicators to use are different, although
some coincide.
