Anàlisi i distribució de la zootoponímia de Mallorca

[cat] El present treball pretén realitzar l’anàlisi dels noms de lloc d’origen animal (zootopònims) de l’illa de Mallorca a través de la seva cartografia, per conèixer la seva distribució i les principals característiques. Aquesta tasca es pot elaborar gràcies a la informació aportada sobretot per dos autors (Josep Mascaró Pasarius i Cosme Aguiló) a través de la contribució de les seves respectives obres. A dia d’avui, l’anàlisi de zootopònims encara no s’ha investigat en profunditat, per tant, el que s’ha volgut aconseguir amb aquest treball és conèixer quina és la funció i aportació d’un geògraf en aquesta disciplina, així com concloure que l’estudi dels noms de lloc, en aquest cas d’origen animal, necessita d’un equip multidisciplinari (filòlegs, lexicòlegs, historiadors, etc.) en el que també l’aportació d’un geògraf, al cap i a la fi és imprescindible per l’obtenció de resultats íntegres en aquests estudis.

[eng] The present work tries to perform the analysis of the place names of animal origin (zootopony) of the island of Mallorca through its cartography, to know its distribution and the main characteristics. This task can be developed thanks to the information provided mainly by two authors (Josep Mascaró Passarius and Cosme Aguiló) through the contribution of their respective works. To date, the analysis of zootopony has not yet been investigated in depth, therefore, what we have wanted to achieve with this work is to know what is the function and contribution of a geographer in this discipline, as well as to conclude that the study of place names, in this case of animal origin, needs a multidisciplinary team (philologists, lexicologists, historians, etc.) in which also the contribution of a geographer, after all is essential to obtain full results in these studies.
