Evolución del número de plazas turísticas y de sus correspondientes precios en relación a las regulaciones

[spa] Las Islas Baleares son una de las comunidades autónomas más competitivas en materia turística desde hace años. Por este motivo, y desde la creación de la “Comunitat Autónoma de les Illes Balears” (CAIB), se han implementado una serie de normativas que regulan el turismo y todos los impactos que provoca. La masificación turística, la madurez del destino y la estacionalidad son unos de los principales problemas del archipiélago balear. Por ello, la CAIB recoge normativas que limitan o restringen el número de plazas turísticas ofertadas con el objetivo de alcanzar un turismo sostenible, de mayor calidad y aún más competitivo. El presente trabajo se centra en la recopilación de las normativas más importantes y su objetivo principal es el de determinar cómo dichas normativas han afectado a la evolución de las plazas turísticas y conocer de qué manera han evolucionado los ingresos hoteleros.

The mass tourism, the maturity of the destination and seasonality are some of the main problems of the Balearic archipelago. Therefore, the CAIB includes regulations to limit or restrict the number of tourist seats offered with the objective of achieving a sustainable tourism, of more quality and an even more competitive tourism. The present work focuses on the compilation of the most important regulations and its main objective is to determine how these regulations have affected the evolution of tourist seats and to know how hotel revenues have evolved.
