[eng] We consider the well known FKPP (Fisher-Kolmogorov-Petrovskii-Piscunov) model,
with a non-local spatial term due to competition for resources. The fronts of the
model are analyzed and compared with numerical simulations. Because of the
non-local term, two different fronts can emerge from different initial conditions,
while in the standard FKPP we have only one front. Each front in the model
presents a different velocity selection mechanism, one of the fronts is pulled while
the other is a pushed front.
