Abstract

[spa] El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo el análisis en primer lugar de los factores que favorecieron la actividad turística en las Islas Baleares y por las cuales se convirtieron en un destino turístico preferente para la sociedad europea. Posteriormente haré un análisis del número de turistas y el tipo de turismo realizado tomando como referencia el año 1960, año que inició una etapa conocida como el primer boom turístico. A continuación se hará un estudio más profundo de los factores que afectan a cada isla. Factores de donde viene la mayoría de turistas, el gasto que realizan, de cuánto tiempo es su estancia media, serán analizados en esta sección. Finalmente se llega a la conclusión de que las Islas Baleares explotan el mismo tipo de turismo de sol y playa pero cada una de las islas tiene sus diferencias

[eng] The present research has as an objective, first of all the analysis of the factors that favored the tourist activity in the Balearic Islands and which became it a reference tourist destination for European society. Secondly I will make an analysis of the number of tourists and the type of tourism, taking as reference the year 1960, year that began a stage known as the first tourist boom. Then I will do a deeper study of the factors that affect each island. Factors such as where most tourists come from, the expense they make, how long is their average stay, will be analyzed in this section Finally, it is concluded that the Balearic Islands exploit the same type of sun and beach tourism but each of the islands has its differences
