Agilización y securización del proceso de almacenaje de expedientes académicos (SET) mediante BlockChain y Smart Contracts

[spa] En este documento se ataja el problema de la verificación obligatoria del Suplemento Europeo al Título cada 10 años, a través del sistema BlockChain Ethereum y Smart contracts de forma que se asegura la inmutabilidad de estos documentos gracias a las peculiaridades de dicho sistema. Primero se introducen conceptos básicos de BlockChain y Smart contracts, a continuación se hace una investigación de su estado actual (usos que les dan las empresas), y una vez hecho esto, se explica el problema en más profundidad y se examinan una serie de opciones de implementación de una prueba de concepto que sirva como solución. Después de escoger una de las soluciones, sobre unos criterios de coste, tiempo y dificultad, ésta se implementa a través de una serie de herramientas que permiten interactuar con Ethereum y desarrollar y desplegar Smart contracts.

[eng] In this document the problem of the European Suplement to the Degree verification every 10 years is approached by the use of the Ethereum BlockChain system and Smart contracts, which ensures the inmutability of this documents thanks to the peculiarities of this system. First, basic concepts about BlockChain and Smart contracts are introduced, and then an investigation about their actual state (which implementations are the enterprises ongoing with this technology), and once this is done, the problem is examined in depth and a series of options are evaluated to implement a proof of concept which will be used as the solution. After picking one of the options, by a criteria based on cost, time and dificulty, this option is implement by using some tools which allow to interact with Ethereum and develop and deploy Smart contracts.
