Personas sin hogar y acceso a la salud

Abstract

[spa] Las Personas sin hogar (PSH) representan el último escalón de la exclusión social. Las repercusiones de su situación influyen directamente en su estado de salud. Los agentes y factores que explican esta situación son multicausales, variables e individuales. El acceso a la salud, así como las estrategias sanitarias públicas, determinan severamente el estado de salud y la supervivencia de esta población. El siguiente proyecto tiene como objetivo conocer las barreras y facilitadores que explican el acceso a la salud a las PSH. A partir de un enfoque mixto pretende averiguar la morbilidad de las PSH en la actualidad de Mallorca e identificar la visión de estas personas en su proceso de atención sanitaria conjunta a la de los profesionales sanitarios. Para ello se utilizará un diseño cuantitativo, observacional descriptivo, y un diseño cualitativo fenomenológico, a través de entrevistas individuales. Para realizar la captación de muestra se contará con la colaboración de distintos servicios sociales que forman parte de la Xarxa d’Acollida i Inserció Social de Mallorca.

[eng] The homeless (PSH) represent the last step of social exclusion. The repercussions of their situation directly influence their state of health. The agents and factors that explain this situation are multi-causal, variable and individual. Access to health, as well as public health strategies, severely determine the health status and survival of this population. The next project aims to know the barriers and facilitators that explain the access to health to the PSH. Based on a mixed approach, the aim is to determine the morbidity of PSH currently in Mallorca and to identify the vision of these people in their joint health care process to that of health professionals. For this purpose, it will use a quantitative design, descriptive observational, and a qualitative phenomenological design, through individual interviews. To collect the sample, we will have the collaboration of different social services that are part of the Xarxa d'Acollida i Inserció Social de Mallorca.
