La ciutat com a espai d'aprenentatge

[cat] Mitjançant el patrimoni cultural coneixem millor la nostra societat, qui érem, qui som i què podem arribar a ser. La ciutat és un espai educador que no ha de quedar desatès dins l'educació. La ciutat en si també és font d'aprenentatge i aquest aprenentatge fa referència a conèixer no només la ciutat d'una manera superficial, sinó saber dels seus espais, les seves festes i la seva cultura popular. Els infants han de conèixer el que tenen al seu voltant ja que forma part de la seva vida i en conseqüència, també la seva història. Per aquest motiu mitjançant una sèrie d'activitats aproparem els infants a les principals festes del municipi de Manacor i les seves danses populars. Veurem la història i les característiques més importants de les festes de Sant Antoni, Sant Jaume i les Fires i Festes de Primavera i coneixerem les danses rituals de la ciutat: la dansa dels moratons, els nanets, les dames, els indis i els cossiers.

[eng] Through cultural heritage we know our society better. Who we were, who we are, and what we can become. The city is a great education space. It should not be left unattended within education. The city itself is also a source of learning. This learning makes references for us to know not only the city in a superficial way, but also to know its spaces, its festivals and its popular culture. Children must know what they have around them, since they form part from their own lives and consequently from their own history. For this reason a series of activities will bring children to the main festivities of the municipality of Manacor and their folk dances. We are going to see the history and the most important charecteristics of the festivities of Saint Antoni, Saint Jaume and les fires i festes de primavera, and we are going to know the ritual dances of the city: the dance of moratons, els manets, les dames, els indis and els cossiers.
