“On air”: La millora de les habilitats comunicatives a través de podcasts

Abstract

[eng] The learning of English language is paramount in today’s global world. It is an indispensable instrument required in a complete curricular and cultural development which guarantees high chances of a prosperous future. This paper will attest that a proposal which involves a model of transversal teaching such CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) succeeds improving every one of the skills needed to acquire a foreign language. The creation of a podcast will be the driving force of this proposal which will launch the students into a project where Social Science will be the content while English will be the bond that will link both subjects.

[cat] La llengua anglesa roman dominant arreu del món en l’actualitat. La llengua anglesa és una eina essencial per obtenir un desenvolupament curricular i cultural adequat que garanteixi unes altes possibilitats d’èxit en la vida adulta. En aquest document es provarà que la millora de les quatre competències de la llengua s’efectuaran amb èxit gràcies a un model transversal de l’ensenyament com els que trobem dins el CLIL. La creació d’un podcast serà el fil conductor d’aquesta proposta que endinsarà els alumnes cap a un projecte on les Ciències Socials en seran el contingut i l’anglès el pont que enllaci aquestes dues matèries.
