Análisis emocional y sentimental a través de la obra Elmer, el elefante multicolor

Abstract

[spa] Este trabajo aborda el Storytelling, es decir, el arte de leer o contar cuentos en una determinada lengua, en concreto, en inglés. Durante muchos años, la narración se ha utilizado como una herramienta competente para comunicar historias dirigidas principalmente a los niños. A lo largo de la historia, se ha conocido que es útil para desarrollar el pensamiento crítico, comportamientos de modelo, y para enseñar la sensibilidad cultural y habilidades de comunicación. El Storytelling puede ser una estrategia de enseñanza creativa y poderosa en todas las disciplinas. Además, se presentan los diferentes aspectos que un buen Storyteller o cuentacuentos debe cuidar, y el tipo de actividades que se pueden y deben emplear. En este trabajo se aborda la idea del cuento, en concreto la obra Elmer, The Patchwork Elephant escrita por el autor David McKee con la que se han desarrollado diferentes actividades para que los niños sean capaces en un futuro de aceptarse a ellos mismos y a los demás, teniendo en cuenta que cada uno de nosotros somos únicos e irrepetibles.

[eng] This paper deals with the storytelling, that is, the art of reading or telling stories in the target language. For hundred years, storytelling has been used as a competent tool to communicate stories mostly aimed at children. Throughout history, it is already known that it is useful to develop critical thinking, model behaviors, and to teach cultural sensitivity and communication skills. Storytelling can be a creative and powerful teaching strategy in all disciplines. There are also the different aspects that a good storyteller or storytelling must take care of. The idea of “story” is analyzed, particularly with the work Elmer, the patchwork elephant written by the author David McKee. Moreover, some activities are developed with the aim of being able to prepare children for future.
