Els hicsos: una nova perspectiva

[cat] El següent treball pretén oferir una modesta síntesi sobre l’estat de la qüestió, des d’un punt de vista històric, del que va ser el Segon Període Intermedi a Egipte, període on gran part d’Egipte fou sotmès per una saga de governadors d’origen asiàtic coneguts amb el nom d’hicsos. Ens centrarem en quin va ser el polèmic origen dels hicsos, com va ser el seu domini sobre Egipte i quines varen ser les seves conseqüències.

[eng] The present work aims to provide a modest synthesis of the state of the question, from a historical point of view, of what was the Second Intermediate Period in Egypt, a period in which much of Egypt was subjugated by a saga of governors of asian origin known as hyksos. We will focus on what was the controversial origin of the hyksos, how was their rule over Egypt and what were the consequences.
