Economía de la localización

Abstract

[spa] En este trabajo de final de grado voy a repasar mediante la historia las principales teorías de la localización y el impacto que han tenido sobre la economía y en sus diferentes sectores de la misma como a agricultura o sobre la ubicación de las ciudades y pueblos, además de como se organizan estos mismos, si siguen un mismo patrón o es diferente la ubicación de los comercios en cada ciudad. Los modelos, teorías y aportaciones que vamos a estudiar van a empezar con Ricardo Cantillon del siglo XVII y vamos a terminar con Agust Lösch del siglo XX entre muchos más. Todo esto sin dejar al margen la maximización del beneficio y la optimización del espacio, también revisaremos la importancia que a tenido la concentración empresarial y veremos si la concentración empresarial anterior también es importante para explicar la presente y el papel de la ubicación para especializarse y conseguir economías externas que sean igual de eficientes que las economías de escala.

[eng] In this dissertation, we will go over with history on the hand, the main theories over locations and the impact of this theories above the economy in different sectors, such like agriculture, plus the study about ubication of cities or towns. In addition, we will see the economic organisation around the cities and if all cities follow the same organisation patrons. The models, theories and contributions that will be reviewed, will start with Richard Cantillon’s contribution, of century XVII and it will finish with Agust Lösch of century XX, between many more. All of this without leaving the maximization of benefits and the space optimization. Moreover, we will also review if the industry concentration in the past is important to explain the current industrial concentration. Furthermore, we will study ubication role on getting a specialized industry and achieving external economies equal efficient than scale economics.
