[cat] Els déus egipcis eren divinitats que foren venerades en l'Antic Egipte i varen sorgir durant
algun moment indeterminat de la prehistòria, ells foren el nucli a partir del qual es va erigir
aquesta rica i extensa cultura, així com també de l’escriptura jeroglífica. El panteó egipci era
molt gran i variat i estava format per més de cent divinitats, algunes dividides en grups o triades.
D’aquestes, poques són conegudes avui en dia, tot i que n’hi ha d’importants que perduraren
fins a l’època grecoromana. Els egipcis intentaren cercar un sentit a tot el que no podien
explicar, mitjançant les diverses cosmogonies on els déus havien creat el món i estaven
involucrats en tots els aspectes de l’existència i la vida humana, present i futura.
[eng] The Egyptian gods were deities who were revered in ancient Egypt and arose at some
indeterminate time in prehistory, they were the nucleus from which this rich and extensive
culture was erected, as well as hieroglyphic writing. The Egyptian pantheon was very large and
varied and consisted of more than a hundred deities, some divided into groups or chosen. Of
these, few are known today, although some are important that lasted until the Greco-Roman
era. The Egyptians tried to find meaning in everything they could not explain, through the
various cosmogonies where the gods had created the world and were involved in all aspects of
human existence and life, present and future.
