Un viatge en el temps per conèixer les arrels historicoartístiques romanes a les Illes Balears

[cat] El present treball se centra en la història, la cultura i l’art del món romà a les Illes Balears dins l’àmbit d’Educació Primària. La conquesta romana encapçalada per Quint Cecili Metel el 123 aC marcà un abans i un desprès a l’arxipèlag balear. La seva presència va durar, aproximadament 600 anys, fet que va transformar la societat en tots els àmbits: polític, religiós, cultural, social i artístic. Per aquest motiu, conèixer les característiques historicoartístiques i culturals de la nostra comunitat en el període romà i entendre’n l’organització i el seu funcionament, és una peça essencial per a l’alumnat en l’aprenentatge de les Ciències Socials i el món que l’envolta. A la vegada, es pretén demostrar la relació existent entre Ciències Socials, Educació Artística i patrimoni cultural, a partir d’una proposta didàctica que treballa transversalment les dues matèries i que se centra en el patrimoni cultural de l’entorn de l’alumnat.

[eng] This work focuses on the history, culture and art of the Roman world in the Balearic Islands in the field of Primary Education. The Roman conquest led by Quint Cecili Metel in 123 BC marked a before and after in the Balearic Islands. Its presence lasted approximately 600 years, which transformed society in all areas: political, religious, cultural, social and artistic. For this reason, knowing the historical-artistic and cultural characteristics of our community in the Roman period and understanding its organization and its functioning, is an essential piece for students in the learning of social sciences and the world around it. At the same time, the aim is to establish the relationship between Social Sciences, Artistic Education and cultural heritage based on a didactic proposal that works transversally on both subjects and focuses on the cultural heritage of the student environment.
