La reconversión de Magaluf en los últimos diez años

[esp] En esta investigación se realiza un análisis de la evolución del destino de Magaluf, declarado turismo maduro, así como su transformación turística en un período de diez años. La modificación realizada por las compañías hoteleras de la zona tiene como finalidad el reposicionamiento del destino de Magaluf para ser competitivo, orientarse hacia un nuevo mercado y aumentar la calidad de la oferta ofrecida. Para analizar el resultado de las medidas tomadas por el sector privado en colaboración con las entidades públicas, se ha elaborado un estudio basado en métodos cuantitativos y cualitativos, donde se muestra que la mayoría de los entrevistados realmente sí han visto un cambio en este destino. Esta observación ha evidenciado el logro de los propósitos a través de la renovación de la planta hotelera considerada obsoleta.

[eng] In this investigation, an analysis is made of the evolution of the Magaluf destination, declared mature tourism, as well as its tourist transformation over a period of ten years. The modification carried out by the hotel companies in the area is aimed at repositioning the destination of Magaluf to be competitive, to be oriented towards a new market and to increase the quality of the offer provided. In order to analyze the result of the measures taken by the private sector in collaboration with public entities, a study based on quantitative and qualitative methods has been carried out, showing that the majority of the interviewed have indeed seen a change in this destination. The observation has evidenced the achievement in the renovation of the hotel plant, which is considered obsolete.
