Los factores de protección de la población penitenciaria desde la perspectiva profesional

Abstract

[spa] Los factores de protección en la población penitenciaria son los grandes olvidados tanto por la literatura científica como por la población general, a pesar de haber demostrado su incidencia en otros colectivos como los menores o las personas con conductas adictivas. Por ello, la finalidad de esta investigación ha sido tratar de delimitar aquellos factores protectores que tienen un mayor impacto en dicho colectivo, basándose, para ello, en una metodología cualitativa, a través de la técnica de la entrevista semiestructurada, realizada a las/los profesionales que trabajan en Mallorca con población penitenciaria. Los resultados obtenidos, a partir del análisis del discurso, se presentan mediante un Árbol de Categorías que revela aquellos aspectos más significativos, tales como el apoyo social, el sentido de pertenencia o la propia estructura de la institución. Partiendo de esta base, se hace una propuesta, en forma de buenas prácticas para los profesionales de este ámbito de intervención.

[eng] The protective factors in the penitentiary population are greatly forgotten in the scientific literature and in the general society, even though it demonstrates the effect in other collectives as children or persons with addictive behaviour. Therefore, the objective of this investigation, based on a qualitative methodology, has been to identify those protective factors that have a higher impact in that collective, through the technique of the semi-organise interview to professionals who work in Mallorca with the penitentiary population. The results, obtained from a discourse analys has been presented with a Category Tree that reveals the aspects that have more importance as social support, the sense of belonging or the ownership structure of an institution. As a conclusion, this paper proposes various good practises for the professionals in this field of intervention.
