El voluntariado social en el ámbito de las prisiones españolas

[spa] Desde una mirada de desconocimiento y curiosidad, se ha realizado una revisión bibliográfica sobre el voluntariado social en el ámbito de las prisiones con la intención de conocer cuál es la situación de esta práctica dentro de este ámbito. A través de la documentación seleccionada se ha podido demostrar la necesidad de llevar a cabo un voluntariado social dentro de las prisiones, el cual aporta libertad a los reclusos y los acerca al mundo exterior. Además de aportar libertad a las personas reclusas y acercarlas a realidad del mundo exterior, favorecen y mejoran la reinserción social y laboral de las personas exreclusas y en riesgo de exclusión social. La implicación y la formación de los voluntarios es imprescindible para poder llevar a cabo esta práctica de la manera más profesional posible. A través de la búsqueda de información, se han podido conocer distintas organizaciones y asociaciones que actualmente están llevando a cabo voluntariados en centros penitenciarios y con colectivos más vulnerables en nuestro país.

[eng] From a perspective of ignorance and curiosity, a literature review was carried out on social volunteering in the field of prisons with the intention of finding out what the situation of this practice is within this field. Through the selected documentation, it has been possible to demonstrate the need to carry out social volunteering within prisons, which brings freedom to inmates and brings them closer to the outside world. In addition to providing freedom to inmates and bringing them closer to the reality of the outside world, they improve the social and work reintegration of ex-prisoners and those at risk of social exclusion. The involvement and training of volunteers is essential to be able to carry out this practice in the most professional way possible. Through the search for information, it has been possible to find out about different organizations and associations that are currently carrying out voluntary work in prisons and with the most vulnerable groups in our country.
