Tractament del gènere en els dibuixos animats infantils del segle XXI

[cat] Avui en dia els dibuixos animats són una de les principals fonts d’entreteniment que trobem en la infància, podent-hi accedir amb facilitat a través de les diverses plataformes destinades a la retransmissió de continguts infantils, com canals de televisió especialitzats o Internet, durant les 24 hores del dia. Per això, la influència que tenen els dibuixos animats en la població infantil és clau en la transmissió de valors, actituds i comportaments, però aquests poden ser tant positius com negatius. En el següent estudi es pretén analitzar el tractament del gènere que trobem en els dibuixos animats de la darrera dècada, per tal de poder comprovar si es segueixen transmetent models i conductes de desigualtat de gènere malgrat haver aconseguit grans avenços en la lluita per a la igualtat de gènere. Per tant, el primer pas és conèixer els títols dels principals dibuixos animats que miren els infants de primària. Tot seguit, realitzarem una anàlisi per mitjà de l’observació de capítols, comprovant si detectem la presència d’escenes de discriminació de gènere. Un cop obtinguts els resultats de l’observació estudiarem, mitjançant l’anàlisi de continguts, com són tractades les figures femenines a través dels personatges, quins són els principals perfils que apareixen i si podrien transmetre estereotips de gènere. Els resultats obtinguts en l’estudi mostren, per un costat, com en l’actualitat es segueixen transmetre comportament sexistes i de discriminació de gènere en els dibuixos animats i, per l’altre, com queden relegats a un segon plànol els personatges femenins, perpetuant en ells estereotips de gènere.

[eng] Nowadays, the cartoons are one of the main sources of entertainment that we find in the childhood. Being easily accessible through the various platforms intended for the broadcasting of children's content such as specialized television channels or the internet 24 hours a day. For this reason, the influence that cartoons have on the child population is key in the transmission of values, attitudes and behaviours, but these can be both positive and negative. 9 The following study aims to analyse the treatment of the gender that we find in cartoons that have been created in the last decade, in order to verify if gender inequality models and behavior continue to be transmitted despite having made great strides in the fight for gender equality. Therefore, the first step is to get to know the titles of the main cartoons that primary school children watch. Next, we will carry out an analysis through the observation of episodes, checking if we detect the presence of gender discrimination scenes. Once the results of the observation have been obtained, we will study through content analysis how female figures are treated by the other characters, what are the main profiles that appear and if gender stereotypes are passed on. The results obtained in the study show, on the one hand, how these days sexist behavior and gender discrimination continue to be perpetuated in cartoons, and on the other hand, how female characters are pushed into the background, perpetuating in them stereotypes of gender
