Investigación y desarrollo en la empresa BIOIB en tiempos de COVID-19

Abstract

[spa] El Clúster Biotecnològic i Biomèdic de les Illes Balears (BIOIB) situado en el Parc BIT, es el fruto de la combinación de empresas y centros de investigación y de formación, tanto públicos como privados. Este Trabajo de Fin de Máster se basa en describir los conocimientos y tareas realizadas en el BIOIB durante las prácticas del Máster Universitario en Nutrigenómica y Nutrición Personalizada los meses de junio y julio de 2020. Se ha conocido el funcionamiento y las labores que desempeña el BIOIB, así como las empresas asociadas al clúster y los centros de investigación presentes en algunos hospitales de las Illes Balears, pudiendo ver la transición de muchos de ellos hacia la investigación en el ámbito de la COVID-19. Dentro de las actividades más destacadas de estas prácticas se incluyen la actualización del pipeline de la empresa y la realización de un dosier de la red hospitalaria de las Illes Balears.

[eng] The Biotechnology and Biomedical Cluster of the Balearic Islands (BIOIB) located in the Parc BIT, is the result of the combination of companies and research and training centers, both public and private. This Master's Thesis is based on describing the knowledge and tasks carried out at the BIOIB during the practices of the Master's Degree in Nutrigenomics and Personalized Nutrition in June and July 2020. The functioning and tasks performed by the BIOIB have been known, as well as the associated companies of the cluster and the research centers present in some hospitals of the Balearic Islands, being able to see the transition of many of them towards research in the field of COVID-19. Among the most outstanding activities of these practices are the updating of the company's pipeline and the preparation of a dossier on the hospital network of the Balearic Islands.
