El paisatge com a eina didàctica de la història contemporània de Balears: la industrialització i el turisme com a casos pràctics

[cat] El present treball pretén ser una proposta didàctica per aplicar el concepte modern de paisatge al camp de la divulgació de la història contemporània de les Illes Balears. El paisatge es pot definir com un element físic (compost per elements físics, biòtics i antròpics) i cultural (compost per una sèrie de significats, valors i símbols). Així, es proposa utilitzar aquesta doble realitat que tenim al nostre abast per elaborar una metodologia que treballi el currículum de l’assignatura de Geografia i Història de 4t d’ESO d’una manera més pràctica emprant eines i recursos de la investigació científica. La proposta s’exposa a través de dos casos pràctics: la industrialització a través de la indústria del calçat i el turisme a través de la urbanització del territori.

[eng] This paper aims to be a didactic proposal to apply the modern concept of landscape in the dissemination of contemporary Balearic history. The landscape can be defined as a physical element (made up of physical, biotic and anthropic elements) and a cultural element (made up of a series of meanings, values and symbols). In order to reflect the latest scientific research, the usage of this double reality is proposed in the creation of a new methodology for the curriculum of the Geography and History course of 4º de ESO (4th grade of secondary school). The proposal is illustrated through two practical examples: the industrialization of the footwear industry and tourism as a driver of urbanization of the territory.
