Impactos de la estacionalización en el medio ambiente de Menorca

Abstract

[spa] La estacionalidad es un factor muy estudiado en la isla de Menorca, por su incidencia en el turismo insular y las fluctuaciones que causa sobre la economía de la isla. Este estudio presenta la estacionalidad de la isla y sus efectos sobre el medioambiente de Menorca. El objetivo de dicho estudio es mostrar y explicar las consecuencias de la estacionalidad. Para llevar a cabo el trabajo, se ha realizado un estudio de diferentes gráficos extraídos de AENA, Autoridad Portuaria de Baleares. Se deduce que existe una relación significativamente negativa entre la estacionalidad y el medioambiente en la isla.

[eng] Seasonality is a highly studied factor on the island of Menorca, due to its incidence on island tourism and the fluctuations it causes on the island’s economy. This study presents the seasonality of the island and its effects on the environment of Menorca. The objective of this study is to show and explain the consequences of seasonality. To carry out the work, a study has been carried out of different graphics extracted from AENA, the Balearic Islands Port Authority. It follows that there is a significantly negative relationship between seasonality and the environment on the island.
