Turismo transformacional: viajar solo para crecer

[spa] En este trabajo se procederá a investigar cómo y por qué motivos viajar en solitario resulta una experiencia más transformadora que un viaje en compañía de alguna persona o personas con las que ya se tiene un vínculo creado, ya sea amigo, familia o pareja. Se definirán los diferentes tipos de viajes transformadores, haciendo hincapié en el turismo mochilero. De esta categoría se determinarán los principales motivos que impulsan a los mochileros a realizar dichos viajes, así como los principales destinos. Para llegar a tales conclusiones se han realizado dos encuestas a más de 130 personas y se han analizado sus respuestas.

[eng] This paper will investigate how and why travelling alone is a more transformative experience than travelling in the company of a person or persons with whom one already has a bond, be it a friend, family or partner. The different types of transformative travel will be defined, with an emphasis on backpacking. From this category, the main reasons for backpackers to go on such trips will be identified, as well as the main destinations. In order to reach these conclusions, two surveys have been carried out with more than 130 respondents and their answers have been analysed.
