El trabajo femenino: comparativa por países e importancia cuantitativa en el PIB

[spa] Este trabajo aborda la trayectoria de la mujer en el mercado laboral español y europeo, desde su introducción hasta su posición en la actualidad. Se analiza la contribución de la mujer en el mercado mediante el estudio de la actividad, empleo, y desempleo, a través tablas y gráficos generados con los datos del Instituto Nacional de Estadística y del Eurostat. De esta manera, se demuestra la desigualdad de género existente en el mercado laboral, ocasionando discriminaciones como la brecha salarial, el techo de cristal o las dificultades de conciliación familiar y laboral, estudiando la repercusión que éstas han tenido sobre la posición de las mujeres en el mercado laboral desde su entrada hasta la actualidad. De la misma manera, se hace una revisión de las políticas aplicadas en materia de empleo y de las leyes aprobadas en favor a la igualdad de género, que han conseguido, poco a poco, crear un entorno laboral mucho más igualitario. Además, también se hace un análisis econométrico, con el objetivo de generar índices que consigan explicar el perfil de la mujer trabajadora actual en España, utilizando los datos de la Encuesta de Población Activa (INE) de 2020.

[eng] This paper addresses the trajectory of women in the Spanish and European labour market, from their introduction to their current position. The contribution of women in the labour market is analysed through the study of activity, employment, and unemployment, using tables and graphics generated with data from the National Institute of Statistics (INE) and Eurostat. Therefore, the existing gender inequality in the labour market is demonstrated, causing discrimination such as the wage gap, the glass ceiling or the difficulties of reconciling family and work, studying the impact that these have had on the position of women in the labour market from their entry to the present day. Similarly, there is a review of the employment policies and laws adopted in favour of gender equality, which have gradually created a much more egalitarian working environment. In addition, an econometric analysis is also made, with the aim of generating indices that can explain the profile of current working women in Spain, using data from the Labour Force Survey (INE) of 2020.
