El patrimonio cultural de las Islas Baleares a golpe de pedal

[spa] El presente trabajo trata de analizar como el cicloturismo ha favorecido el conocimiento y la visibilización del patrimonio cultural de las Islas Baleares y de la gran importancia que esto aporta al medio ambiente y a su conservación. Aunado a esto, se exploran los inicios del cicloturismo y su influencia en la sociedad mallorquina a propósito de reflejar que la tradición cicloturista no es una moda surgida de la nada. De modo similar, se detallan los atributos más característicos que poseen las islas baleares para la práctica de esta actividad. Para todo ello, se ha hecho una búsqueda de fuentes bibliográficas, fundamentalmente de libros temáticos y artículos web, se ha realizado un estudio de campo y diseñado un itinerario cultural dedicado exclusivamente para el cicloturismo.

[eng] This study tries to analyze how cycling tourism has favored the knowledge and visibility of the cultural heritage of the Balearic Islands and the great importance that this brings to the environment and its conservation. In addition, it explores the beginnings of cycle tourism and its influence on Mallorcan society in order to reflect that the cycle tourism tradition is not a fad that came out of nowhere. Similarly, the most characteristic attributes that the Balearic Islands have for the practice of this activity are detailed. For all this, a search of bibliographic sources has been made, mainly thematic books and web articles, a field study has been carried out and a cultural itinerary dedicated exclusively to cycle tourism has been designed.
