Los efectos de la pandemia COVID-19 en las Islas Baleares

Abstract

[spa] Es un trabajo sobre los impactos generales que ha causado la pandemia COVID-19 sobre el turismo de las Islas Baleares, reflejando visualmente la caída de los principales indicadores de rentabilidad económica y social. Los impactos siempre van a ir variando en función del avance de la pandemia, aunque hay variables que no se verán tan influenciadas. La estacionalidad y el tipo de turismo sigue más o menos la misma tendencia que los años anteriores, pero en los extremos encontramos indicadores que presentan resultados muy negativos (PIB) frente a otros con resultados positivos (impacto ambiental). El sector turístico se ha llevado los peores resultados puesto que contribuye en mayor cantidad a la economía Balear. Así pues, ¿Cómo han afectado a las Islas Baleares tanto la pandemia como la gestión de la misma? ¿Cómo vamos a recuperarnos? En el siguiente trabajo y mediante una encuesta realizada a residentes del archipiélago se analizan las siguientes preguntas.

[eng] This is a essay of the general impacts that the COVID-19 pandemic has caused on the main tourism indicators in the Balearic Islands, visually reflecting the falls in the main indicators of economic and social profitability. The impacts will always fluctuate depending on the pandemic evolution, although there are variables that will not be so influenced. Seasonality and the main tourism type follow more or less the same trend as in previous years, but at the extremes we will find indicators that present very negative results (GDP) compared to others with positive results (environmental impacts). The tourism sector has had the worst results since it is the major contributor to the Balearic economy. So, how have both the pandemic and its management affected the Balearic Islands? How are we going to recover? In the following essay and through a survey made to residents, the following questions are analyzed.
