dc.description.abstract [eng] This paper addresses the relationship between music festivals and the tourism sector in Spain, paying special attention to the social and economic impact of major music events in our country. It also analyzes how these events contribute to the country's economy and tourism, and the profile of the tourist, through a survey carried out as fieldwork. A classification of the types of musical events will also be made, with a brief comparison at the international level. On the other hand, we will comment on the performance that the industry is developing due to the current crisis caused by the covid-19, and we will make some proposals for the future. ca
