[spa] Sin lugar a dudas, la industria turística española se ha convertido en uno de los pilares fundamentales de la economía nacional, y ha convertido a España en uno de los principales destinos turísticos a nivel mundial, hechos que han derivado en un incipiente crecimiento de la oferta y demanda laboral para trabajar en el sector, ofreciendo oportunidades de empleo para todo tipo de perfiles en las diversas áreas de producción. Sin embargo, la naturaleza temporal del turismo en España también ha incentivado la presencia masiva de contratos temporales y limitado la oferta laboral durante las temporadas bajas. ¿Existen barreras de entrada para trabajar en el sector? ¿Se trata de un sector con inestabilidad laboral? ¿Existen grupos más afectados que otros por esta problemática? En este análisis trataremos de hallar las respuestas más certeras y dar una visión de actualidad al mercado de trabajo turístico de España.

[eng] Undoubtedly, the Spanish tourism industry has become one of the fundamental pillars of the national economy, and has turned Spain into one of the main tourist destinations worldwide, facts that have led to an incipient growth in supply and labor demand to work in the sector, offering employment opportunities for all types of profiles in the various production areas. However, the temporary nature of tourism in Spain has also encouraged the massive presence of temporary contracts and limited the labor supply during low seasons. Are there entry barriers to work in the sector? Is it a sector with labor instability? Are there groups more affected than others by this problem? In this analysis we will try to find the most accurate answers and give a current vision of the tourist labor market in Spain.
