Body and soul : una anàlisi comparativa a partir de trombonistes referents dins el jazz

[cat] Aquest treball pretén contextualitzar, analitzar i comparar estilísticament la manera de tocar i improvisar d’una selecció de trombonistes referents dins la historia del jazz. Per això ens valdrem de la transcripció, anàlisi i comparativa entre una selecció de solos del mateix tema executats per 7 trombonistes: J. J. Johnson, Urbie Green, Jimmy Kneper, Carl Fontana, Bob Brookmeyer, Frank Rosolino i Bill Watrous, a aquest cas ens centrarem en l’standard “Body and soul”.

[eng] This work aims to contextualize, analyze and stylistically compare the way of playing and improvising of a selection of leading trombonists in the history of jazz. For that purpose we will use the transcription, analysis and comparison between a selection of solos of the same theme performed by 7 trombonists: JJ Johnson, Urbie Green, Jimmy Kneper, Carl Fontana, Bob Brookmeyer, Frank Rosolino and Bill Watrous, in this case we will focus on the "Body and soul" standard
