Estudio sobre la importancia de la enseñanza de la probabilidad en la Educación Primaria

[spa] La probabilidad es, junto a la estadística, uno de los temarios más invisibilizados y que se ve limitada a la enseñanza superficial del significado clásico, obviando los diferentes significados que tiene. La percepción por parte de docentes que crecieron sin entender los conceptos probabilísticos, limita el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje de unos conocimientos necesarios. Con este trabajo se pretende poner en valor la probabilidad no solo para entender los juegos donde interviene el azar, sino por su importancia para diferentes ámbitos cotidianos y laborales, como para defensas judiciales o control de enfermedades. Además de poder suponer una medida preventiva para evitar el juego patológico, un trastorno creciente entre los más jóvenes, los cuales a día de hoy tienen un acceso más sencillo vía Internet o con las microtransacciones de los videojuegos. El National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) establece los estándares a trabajar en las aulas de educación obligatoria respecto a los saberes probabilísticos, quedando las aulas españolas por detrás de lo establecido. No obstante, con el pasar de los años, la representación de los saberes relacionados con el sentido estocástico han ganado presencia en las leyes educativas del sistema español. [eng] Probability is, beside statistics, one of the most invisible topics and that is limited to the superficial teaching of the classical meaning, disregarding the different meanings it has. The perception from the teachers that grew without understanding the probabilistic concepts, restrict the teaching and learning process of necessary knowledge. This work aims to put value on probability not only to understand the games where chance intervenes, but because of its importance for different daily and work areas, such as judicial defences or disease control. In addition to being able to suppose a preventive measure to avoid the pathological game, a rising disorder between the younger people, a group that nowadays has an easier access through the Internet or with video games' microtransactions. The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) establishes the standards to be worked on the classrooms of the compulsory education in relation to probabilistic knowledge, leaving the Spanish classrooms behind schedule. Nevertheless, over the years, the representation of the knowledge related to stochastics have gained presence in the Spanish education laws. Following the guidelines of the LOMLOE, a learning situation has been developed, with which students will be able to experience the different meanings and be involved in different activities about probability. The students can thus become more mathematically competent and develop as members of society.
