La conquesta musical del Rei Jaume I a Santa Ponça

Abstract

[cat] Ens trobam en una societat que cada vegada és més globalitzada i multicultural, per això amb aquest treball final de grau és vol mostrar alguns trets distintius de la nostra cultura mallorquina, i en especial, ens centrarem a les Festes del Rei en Jaume a Santa Ponça. L’objectiu principal del treball és donar a conèixer als alumnes de primària els elements tradicionals acompanyats de música de les Festes del Desembarcament del Rei Jaume I a Santa Ponça. Entre aquests destacaran els cavallers, el Ball dels Escamots, els gegants, les ballades populars, el Ball de Bot i la llengua. Al llarg d’aquest document podrem trobar un marc teòric amb els inicis de les festes i la història de l’arribada del Rei Jaume I a l’illa de Mallorca l’any 1229. Seguidament, podrem veure l’anàlisi d’unes enquestes realitzades als alumnes del CEIP Ses Rotes Velles, situat a Santa Ponça, per comprovar si coneixen els elements culturals de les seves festes. Finalment, podrem trobar una proposta didàctica per tal de mostrar aquests trets culturals, els quals no hem d’oblidar per mantenir l’essència de les festes.

[eng] We find ourselves in a society that is becoming increasingly globalised and multicultural, which is why this final year project has been created, in order to show some of the distinctive traits of our Mallorcan culture, and in particular, we will focus on the Festes del Rei en Jaume in Santa Ponça. The main objective of the work is to show the students the traditional elements accompanied by music of the Festes del Desembarcament del Rei Jaume I in Santa Ponça. Among these are the cavalrymen, the Escamots Ball, the gegants, the ballades populars, the Ball de Bot and the language. Throughout this document we can find a theoretical framework with the beginnings of the festivities and the history of the arrival of Rei Jaume I to the island of Mallorca in 1229. Next, we will be able to see the analysis of some surveys carried out among the students of the CEIP Ses Rotes Velles school, located in Santa Ponça, to check if they know the cultural elements of their festivities. Finally, we will be able to find a didactic proposal to show these cultural traits, which we must not forget in order to maintain the essence of the festivities.
