Un projecte artístic de base literària envers el retaule de Sant Jordi de Pere Niçard

Abstract

[cat] Són múltiples les curiositats que s’oculten rere una de les obres d’art més prestigioses de l’illa de Mallorca: el retaule de Sant Jordi, del pintor gòtic Pere Niçard, conservat al Museu d’Art Sacre de Mallorca. Per aquest motiu, el present treball de fi de grau inclou una proposta didàctica que pretén posar en valor aquesta obra pictòrica, així com donar a conèixer els fets històrics i llegendaris que revela a l’alumnat de cinquè curs de l’etapa d’educació primària. L’objectiu final és apropar els infants al patrimoni artístic, històric i literari que hem heretat a través d’un projecte que conclou amb l'elaboració d’un àlbum il·lustrat. Es tracta, doncs, d’una proposta interdisciplinària entre les matèries d’Educació Artística (plàstica) i Llengua Catalana i Literatura.

[eng] There are many curiosities hidden behind one of the most prestigious artworks from Mallorca: the altarpiece of saint George, by the gothic painter Pere Niçard, preserved in Museu d’Art Sacre de Mallorca. For this reason, this end-of-degree work includes an educational proposal that aims to give value to this pictorial work, as well as to raise awareness of the historical and legendary facts it reveals to pupils in the fifth grade of elementary school. The ultimate goal is to bring children closer to the artistic, historical and literary heritage that we have inherited through a project that will be reflected in an illustrated album. It is therefore an interdisciplinary proposal between the subjects Art Education (plastic arts) and Catalan Language and Literature
