Potencial de la implementación de las nuevas tecnologías en empresas biotecnológicas (Salud-Agroalimentación) de las Islas Baleares

[spa] Las nuevas tecnologías son las herramientas del futuro (incluso ya en el presente) para las empresas; son la llave para poder innovar y gestionar una empresa con la mayor eficiencia posible. Por ello, la digitalización de las empresas es algo inminente si quieren sobrevivir en sus respectivos sectores. En las Islas Baleares, conviven varias empresas con un alto potencial de expansión entre las que destacan las biotecnológicas, las cuales, se pueden aprovechar en gran medida de todo lo que ofrecen las nuevas tecnologías. No obstante, no todas son igual de aprovechables y la implementación de una u otra dependerá de los objetivos y en lo que trabaja cada empresa, todo ello para que dicha implementación sea lo más sinérgica posible. En este trabajo fin de máster se realiza un análisis de algunas de las nuevas tecnologías existentes (Big Data, Inteligencia artificial, Blockchain, Realidad Virtual e Internet of Things) y su posible implementación en las empresas de las Islas Baleares, en concreto, en las empresas biotecnológicas relacionadas con el sector salud y agroalimentación que pertenecen al clúster biotecnológico y biomédico de las Islas Baleares (BIOIB). Además, se estudian aquellas empresas del sector tecnológico de las Islas Baleares que son capaces de facilitar dicha transformación digital en las empresas biotecnológicas mencionadas anteriormente. Con esto, se pretende establecer un binomio colaborativo entre empresas tecnológicas-informáticas con empresas biotecnológicas, ambas de las Islas Baleares para impulsar dichos sectores hacia un próspero futuro.

For this reason, the digitization of companies is imminent if they want to survive in their respective sectors. In the Balearic Islands, there are several companies with a high potential for expansion, among which biotech companies stand out, which can take advantage of everything that new technologies offer. However, not all of them are equally usable and the implementation of one or the other will depend on the objectives and what each company works on, all so that said implementation is as synergistic as possible. In this master's thesis, an analysis is made of some of the new existing technologies (Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Virtual Reality and Internet of Things) and their possible implementation in the companies of the Balearic Islands, specifically, in the biotechnological companies related to the health and agri-food sector that belong to the biotechnological and biomedical cluster of the Balearic Islands (BIOIB). In addition, those companies in the technological sector of the Balearic Islands that are capable of facilitating said digital transformation in the biotechnological companies mentioned above are studied. With this, it is intended to establish a collaborative binomial between technology-computer companies with biotechnology companies, both from the Balearic Islands to promote these sectors towards a prosperous future.
