La Carta Náutica de Angelino Dulcert de 1339, y su representación de la Península Ibérica y las Islas Baleares

[spa] El trabajo es un estudio de la Carta Náutica de Dulcert de 1339, con un análisis específico de la representación de la Península Ibérica y las Islas Baleares. La carta objeto del trabajo ha sido estudiada previamente por diversos autores, debido a ser la primera carta fechada y firmada en Mallorca de la que se tiene constancia, la cual supone un precedente del Atlas Catalán. De esta manera, en el presente documento se estudian los rasgos generales del total del documento, posterior a la contextualización, como vienen siendo las bases de la cartografía náutica medieval, la autoría y las características generales para pasar en última instancia al análisis de la zona Ibérica mediante la inspección de la línea de costa, la representación del territorio y la transcripción de la toponímia. Todo con el objetivo de entender la realidad de la época representada en el documento cartográfico.

[eng] The work is a study of the Dulcert Nautical Chart of 1339, with a specific analysis of the representation of the Iberian Peninsula and the Balearic Islands. The letter object of the work has been previously studied by various authors, due to being the first letter dated and signed in Mallorca of which there is evidence, which is a precedent for the Catalan Atlas. In this way, in this document the general features of the entire document are studied, after the contextualization, how the bases of medieval nautical cartography have been, the authorship and the general characteristics to ultimately move on to the analysis of the iberian region through the inspection of the coastline, the representation of the territory and the transcription of toponymy. All with the objective of understanding the reality of the time represented in the cartographic document.
