G8CTET, de la idea a l'escena. Guia per al llançament d'un projecte musical a Mallorca

Abstract

[cat] Aquest treball de final d’estudis aborda el llançament del projecte musical G8ctet, un octet de latin jazz que sorgeix inicialment com a recital de final de grau, però que busca implantar-se mitjançant l’aplicació d’un pla de llançament estructurat. L'objectiu d'aquest treball és aprofundir en tots els aspectes necessaris per a desenvolupar el projecte de manera autogestionada, des de la seva concepció inicial fins a la seva materialització en escena. També es proporcionarà un context sobre el model de negoci musical i com ha evolucionat fins a l’actualitat. Així mateix, es farà una reflexió sobre l’estat de salut de la música jazz a Mallorca, considerant el context local clau per a l’èxit del projecte. A més de la seva aplicabilitat directa a G8ctet, aquest treball té un caràcter pedagògic, ja que busca servir com a guia per a altres projectes emergents, oferintlos orientació en el llançament dels seus propis projectes musicals.

[eng] This final research project addresses the launch of the musical project G8ctet, an octet of Latin jazz that initially arises as a final degree recital but aims to establish itself through the implementation of a structured launch plan. The objective of this work is to delve into all the necessary aspects to develop the project in a self-managed manner, from its initial conception to its realization on stage. It will also provide a context on the music business model and how it has evolved to the present day. Additionally, there will be a reflection on the state of jazz music in Mallorca, considering the key local context for the success of the project. In addition to its direct applicability to G8ctet, this work has a pedagogical character as it aims to serve as a guide for other emerging projects, providing them with guidance in launching their own music projects.
