Un estudi sobre el Popol Vuh i la dona maia

[cat] El Popol Vuh és el llibre sagrat del poble maia dels quitxés, dictamina la filosofia, les bases morals i la cosmologia dictades pels seus déus. Part de l’obra es considera literatura, per l'aparició de successos sobrenaturals, personatges ficticis, però també és de rellevància històrica, donat a la narració de fets històrics verídics. Encara que han existit altres còdexs, o els tonamatl, aquest sens dubte, es tracta del exemplari sagrat més important, on trobem diverses facetes que ens parlen de la seva ingent prosperitat cultural.

[eng] The Popol Vuh is the sacred book of the Quichean- Mayan people, it dictates the philosophy, moral bases and cosmology dictated by their gods. Part of the stories are considered literature, due to the fact of the appearance of supernatural events, fictional characters, but it is also of historical relevance, given the narration of true historical events. Although there have been other codices, or the tonamatl, this is undoubtedly the most important sacred copy, where we find several facets that tell us about its immense cultural prosperity.
