El sector turístico en las Islas Baleares post crisis 2008

Abstract

[spa] España es uno de los países a nivel mundial que más turistas recibe y su economía depende mucho de este sector. Algunas comunidades autónomas del país cuentan con un mayor nivel de llegadas, como es el caso de las Islas Baleares, zona en la que el turismo es una actividad indispensable. En este Trabajo de Fin de Grado se analizará cuál ha sido la situación del archipiélago balear durante la post crisis financiera y económica del 2008 y como han sido sus consecuencias sobre la sociedad, el perfil del turista, el gasto turístico, la estancia media del pasajero y otros aspectos relevantes. Se aprecian cambios importantes que afectaron a toda la sociedad balear y a su calidad de vida, aunque cuenta con un aspecto positivo en comparación con las demás comunidades y con España en general, y se trata de su veloz recuperación.

[eng] Spain is one of the countries in the world that receives the most tourists and its economy depends a lot on this sector. Some autonomous communities of the country have a higher level of arrivals, as is the case of the Balearic Islands, an area in which tourism is an essential activity. In this end-of-degree project, the situation of the Balearic archipelago will be analyzed during the post financial and economic crisis of 2008 and how its consequences have afected the society, the tourist profile, the tourist spending, the average stay of the passengers and other relevant aspects. Important changes can be seen that affected the entire Balearic society and its life quality, although it has a positive aspect compared to the other communities and with Spain in general, that is its rapid recovery.
