Análisis económico-financiero de Meliá Hotels International, S.A.

Abstract

[spa] El presente trabajo de fin de grado consiste en realizar un estudio de la situación económico y financiera de la compañía Meliá Hotels International S.A. en los años 2017 – 2020. Además, se hará un análisis macroeconómico en el que se mostrará la importancia que el turismo tiene en la economía española, tanto desde el punto de vista del producto interior bruto como del empleo. Tras esto, se explicarán los inicios de la compañía junto a sus principales competidores y los posibles problemas de agencias que existen. Después, se llevará a cabo un análisis técnico con el propósito de conocer la evolución del precio de la acción y las principales ratios bursátiles. Finalmente, se hará una conclusión respondiendo todas las preguntas que se habrán planteado a lo largo del trabajo.

[eng] This final thesis consists of carrying out a study of the economic and financial situation of the company Meliá Hotels International S.A. in the years 2017-2020. In addition, a macroeconomic analysis will be made showing the importance of tourism in the Spanish economy, both from the point of view of gross domestic product and employment. After this, the beginnings of the company will be explained along with its main competitors and the possible agency problems that exist. Then, a technical analysis will be carried out in order to know the evolution of the share price and the main stock market relationships. Finally, a conclusion will be made, answering all the questions that will have been raised throughout the work.
