El consumo de drogas en mujeres cisgénero que ejercen la prostitución y sus consecuencias

[spa] La presente revisión bibliográfica se centra en el fenómeno de la prostitución y el consumo de sustancias, la cual engloba a tres agentes participantes: proxeneta, cliente y mujer en situación de prostitución. Se establecen los siguientes objetivos: (1) identificar factores sobre la relación entre consumo de drogas y la prostitución; y (2) identificar como repercute el consumo de drogas en el contexto de la prostitución en la salud mental y física. Tras la aplicación de los criterios de inclusión y exclusión se han obtenido 6 artículos. Los resultados muestran una relación circular entre la prostitución y el consumo de sustancias habiendo múltiples factores que varían en ella. Por otro lado, los resultados indican que la prostitución tiene un impacto negativo en la salud de las mujeres que la ejercen, tanto a nivel físico como a nivel mental. Esta revisión ha permitido mostrar que el ejercicio de la prostitución es perjudicial para la salud de las mujeres, así como la relación que se establece entre dicha actividad y el consumo de sustancias. Para futuras líneas de investigación, se plantea la posibilidad de indagar más acerca de los agentes que influyen en la relación entre la prostitución y el consumo de sustancias.

[eng] This literature review focuses on the phenomenon of prostitution and substance use, which involves three actors: pimp, client and woman in prostitution situation. The following objectives are established: (1) identify factors on the relationship between drug use and prostitution; and (2) to identify the impact of drug use in the context of prostitution on mental and physical health. After applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 6 articles were obtained. The results show a circular relationship between prostitution and substance use with multiple factors varying in this relationship. On the other hand, the results indicate that 3 prostitution has a negative impact on the health of the women involved, both physically and mentally. This review has made it possible to show that prostitution is detrimental to women's health, as well as the relationship established between this activity and substance consumption. For future lines of research, the possibility of investigating more about the agents that influence the relationship between prostitution and substance use is considered.
