Disseny de propostes de millora per a una biblioteca escolar d'Educació Primària

Abstract

[cat] La lectura és un pilar fonamental en l’educació d’avui dia i, per això, és important treballar-la des de les edats més primerenques amb la finalitat de potenciar l’hàbit lector i el gust per la lectura de l’alumnat. Per aconseguir-ho, és fonamental l’existència de biblioteques escolars i de biblioteques d’aula de qualitat, així com un projecte de centre pel foment de la lectura. Per aquest motiu, el present treball pretén descriure els conceptes de biblioteca escolar i biblioteca d’aula; aprofundir en les característiques d’ambdós espais tenint en compte aspectes com els usuaris, l’organització, l’espai i el fons documental; desenvolupar les seves funcions; i reflexionar sobre la importància de la implicació de tots els agents educatius i no educatius en aquest procés. Seguidament, es descriu i s’analitza l’organització i el funcionament de la biblioteca escolar d’un centre educatiu d’Educació Primària, així com les propostes que duen a terme per fomentar de la lectura a entre l’alumnat. Finalment, s’expliquen les mancances detectades en aquests aspectes, a partir de les quals es dissenyen una sèrie de propostes de millora amb la finalitat de pal·liar aquestes limitacions, fonamentades a partir d’una àmplia recerca documental.

[eng] Reading is a fundamental pillar in today's education and, therefore, it is important to work on it from the earliest ages in order to promote the reading habit and the students' taste for reading. To achieve this, it is essential to have school libraries and classroom libraries of quality, as well as a center project for the promotion of reading. For this reason, this paper aims to describe the concepts of school library and classroom library; to delve into the characteristics of both spaces taking into account aspects such as users, organization, space and documentary collection; to develop their functions; and to reflect on the importance of the involvement of all educational and non-educational agents in this process. Next, the organization and functioning of the school library of a primary school is described and analyzed, as well as the proposals carried out to promote reading among students. Finally, the shortcomings detected in these aspects are explained, from which a series of improvement proposals are designed in order to alleviate these limitations, based on an extensive documentary research.
