Art i la revolució a través dels debats artístics dels anys 20 a la URSS

Abstract

[cat] La revolució d’Octubre de 1917 va transformar la societat russa i suposà l’inici d’un procés revolucionari a escala mundial. L’art també es va veure afectat per aquest fet i es va formular la pregunta de com l’art podia ser una part d’aquest procés. Durant la dècada de 1920 es va produir un interessant debat entre les tendències d’avantguarda, els constructivistes i les tendències realistes, la AKhRR, sobre com havia de ser aquest art. A finals de la dècada les tendències d’avantguarda havien quedat recloses a la fotografia i el camp de la pintura estava liderat per les tendències realistes i l’estil del Realisme Socialista.

[eng] The October revolution transformed reality and was the beginning of a revolutionary process on a world scale. Art was also affected by this fact and the question was asked as to how art could be a part of this process. During the 1920s there was an interesting debate between the avant-garde tendencies, the constructivists, and the realist tendencies, the AKhRR, about how this art should be. At the end of the decade the avant-garde tendencies were limited to photography and the field of painting was led by the realist tendencies and the style of socialist realism.
