[cat] En aquest treball es pretén donar a conèixer la figura i trajectòria artística de Douglas Gordon (Glasgow, 1966), artista escocès que es va inserir dins el grup Young British Artists. La seva obra està marcada sobretot per la realització de videoinstal·lacions i obres amb manipulació de fotografies. És important en aquest sentit la presencia a la seva creació dels conceptes de temporalitat i apropiacionisme, el darrer dels quals s’expressa amb fragments o pel·lícules senceres de Hollywood. Això ajudarà a emfatitzar la relació entre l’obra i l’espectador

[eng] This work is intended to unveil the figure and artistic career of Douglas Gordon (Glasgow, 1966), a Scottish artist who was inserted into the group Young British Artists. His work is particularly marked by video installations and photo manipulation works. Important is the presence in his work of the concepts of temporality and appropriation, which are very present in his pieces, the latter of which is expressed in Hollywood fragments or entire films. This will help emphasize the relationship between the play and the viewer.
