Prostitució deslocalitzada i els nous reptes per a les professionals de la intervenció social

Abstract

[cat] El present treball de final de grau té com a objectiu analitzar el concepte de la prostitució deslocalitzada i com aquest s’ha convertit en una realitat a l’illa de Mallorca al llarg dels darrers anys. S’han realitzat entrevistes a les diferents professionals de la intervenció social de les entitats que intervenen amb dones en contexts de prostitució: Casal Petit, Metges del Món i Creu Roja. Els resultats de les entrevistes han demostrat que, a partir de la introducció de l’internet i de les noves tecnologies, el sistema prostitucional ha anat canviant les seves dinàmiques per tal d’expandir-se i obtenir majors beneficis, donant pas al procés de deslocalització de la prostitució. Tot i que s’estan adoptant estratègies i mesures per fer-hi front, la prostitució deslocalitzada suposa una major ocultació i aïllament per a les dones en situació de prostitució, al mateix temps que està generant reptes per a les professionals de la intervenció social amb els quals no s’havien trobat fins aleshores, com la desconeixença i no tenir un control sobre els espais de prostitució i una major dificultat per oferir els serveis de les entitats a les dones que el necessiten.

[eng] The present graduate work aims to analyse the concept of delocalized prostitution and how it has become a reality on the island of Mallorca over the last few years. There have been interviews with the different professionals involved in the social intervention of entities involved with women in prostitution contexts: Small house, Médecins du Monde and Red Cross. The results of the interviews have shown that, with the introduction of the Internet and new technologies, the prostitution system has changed its dynamics in order to expand and make greater profits, giving way to the process of relocation of prostitution. Although strategies and measures are being adopted to deal with it, delocalized prostitution means greater concealment and isolation for women in prostitution, while also creating challenges for social intervention professionals with whom they had not met until then, such as unawareness and lack of control over prostitution spaces and greater difficulty in providing the services of entities to women in need.
