Anàlisi del grau d'ambientalitzacio del servei de joventut Espais Joves: un estudi de cas

[cat] En el món actual, no es poden obviar els greus efectes que el creixement humà té sobre el medi ambient. El model econòmic i de desenvolupament de la societat contemporània prioritza el creixement a la cura i protecció de l’entorn. A causa d’això, ens trobem davant greus problemàtiques ambientals com el canvi climàtic i el deteriorament de la biodiversitat. Davant aquesta situació, corroborada des de fa anys per diferents informes i investigacions, es planteja la urgència d’actuar amb l’objectiu de minimitzar els impactes negatius que aquests fenòmens tindran en el Planeta i en les nostres vides. En aquest context, és determinant reconèixer el paper de l’educació com a instrument dirigit a modificar els valors, actituds i creences de l’espècie humana, els quals es troben en les arrels de la problemàtica ambiental. Des del camp de l’Educació Social, és important observar les potencialitats de l’Educació Ambiental, en l’àmbit no formal, com a canal per fer arribar aquest canvi a diferents sectors de la població. En el cas d’aquest estudi el sector de referència és la població juvenil. Per això, el treball s’endinsa en les particularitats dels serveis de joventut i en la seva necessària relació amb l’Educació Ambiental no formal, a través d’un cas pràctic: l’anàlisi del grau d’ambientalització del Servei de Dinamització Espais Joves. Per a desenvolupar aquest procés, s’han creat diferents eines de recollida d’informació (Llista de Verificació Gestió Equipament, Llista de Verificació Gestió Servei i Llista de Verificació Projecte) les quals han estat aplicades per obtenir un diagnòstic, des del qual plantejar recomanacions pràctiques per a millorar l’ambientalització del servei analitzat en dues dimensions: estratègica i operativa. Com a resultat, es pretén que els continguts d’aquest treball puguin servir en l’orientació de la millora ambiental dels serveis de joventut.

[eng] Nowadays, the significant effects of human development on the environment cannot be ignored. The economic and development models of today's society prioritise growth over the care and protection of the environment. As a result, we are facing serious environmental problems such as climate change and the deterioration of biodiversity. In view of this situation, which has been corroborated for years by various reports and research, it is urgent to act in order to minimise the negative impacts that these phenomena will have on the planet and on our lives. In this context, it is crucial to recognise the role of education as an instrument aimed at modifying the values, attitudes and beliefs of the human species, which are at the root of environmental problems. From the field of Social Education, it is important to observe the potential of Environmental Education in the non-formal sphere, as a channel for bringing this change to different sectors of the population. In the case of this final degree project, the reference sector is the youth population. For this reason, the project explores the particularities of youth services and their necessary relationship with non-formal Environmental Education, through a practical case study. That is the analysis of the greening level of a youth service: The Servei de Dinamitzacio Espais Joves de l’Ajuntament de Palma. In order to develop this process, different tools have been created to collect information (Llista de Verificació Gestió Equipament, Llista de Verificació Gestió Servei i Llista de Verificació Projecte), which have been applied to obtain a diagnosis, from which to propose practical recommendations to improve the greening of the service analysed in two dimensions: strategic and operational. Furthermore, it is intended that the contents created during the development of this work can be used to guide the environmental improvement of youth services.
