Barreras en las relaciones sociales en las personas con diversidad intelectual

Abstract

[spa] En este trabajo se pretende realizar un abordaje, sobre la dificultad en establecer relaciones sociales, en las personas con diversidad intelectual y para ello se realiza una revisión bibliográfica, unida a una metodología de investigación cualitativa, cuya herramienta de recopilación de datos es la entrevista, que permite obtener información relevante para conocer, comprender y profundizar, cuáles son las causas, que dificultan establecer relaciones sociales. Entre los resultados se han encontrado que la familia, el grado de diversidad intelectual y algunos tipos de comportamientos son algunos de los elementos que dificultan el establecer relaciones sociales. Tras detectar esta necesidad, se tratará de conceptualizar la diversidad intelectual, además de identificar las variables que limitan las relaciones sociales y finalmente presentar y conocer diversos programas que tienen como objetivo, el fomento y la adquisición de habilidades sociales, con la finalidad de establecer relaciones sociales.

[eng] In this work we intend to make an approach on the difficulty, in establishing social relationships in adults, with intellectual diversity and for this purpose a literature review coupled with a qualitative research methodology, whose collection instrument is the semi-structured interview that allows to obtain relevant information to know, understand and deepen, what are the causes that hinder the establishment of social relationships. Among the results it has been found that the family, the degree of intellectual diversity and some types of behaviors are some of the elements that make it difficult to establish social relationships. After detecting this need, we will try to conceptualize intellectual diversity, as well as identify the variables that limit social relationships and finally present and learn about various programs that aim to promote and acquire social skills, so that they are able to establish social relationships on their own.
