Estigma i salut mental en dones que exerceixen la prostitució: una revisió sistemàtica

[cat] La revisió sistemàtica que a continuació es presenta ha basat el seu desenvolupament perseguint l'objectiu d'indagar damunt els efectes de l'estigma en la salut mental de les dones que exerceixen la prostitució, a través d'una anàlisi externa de l'autoestigma, l'estigma institucional i l'estigma en les relacions personals. La recerca damunt la producció científica existent entorn del tema s'ha desenvolupat en Web of Science i a Scopus, explorant els articles publicats en els últims 15 anys i classificant-los en taules per tal de sintetitzar els resultats obtinguts. En total els 9 articles seleccionats han il·lustrat la manca d'investigació existent damunt l'estigma en la salut mental de les treballadores sexuals. Tanmateix, s'ha constatat la correlació existent entre estigma i salut mental, especialment quan es tracta de normes socials i culturals, de serveis de salut mental, de parelles afectives i de la influència que tot això pot tenir en l'autoestigma de les dones prostituïdes.

[eng] The systematic review presented below has based its development on the objective of investigating the effects of stigma on the mental health of women in prostitution, through an external analysis of self-stigma, institutional stigma and stigma in personal relationships. The research on the existing scientific production around the topic has been developed in Web of Science and Scopus, exploring the articles published in the last 15 years and classifying them in tables in order to synthesize the results obtained. In total, the 9 articles selected illustrated the lack of research on the mental health stigma of sex workers. However, the correlation between stigma and mental health has been found, especially when it comes to social and cultural norms, mental health services, affective partners and the influence that all this can have on the self-stigma of prostituted women.
