Estètica i feminitat al segle XVIII. Viatge a través de la pintura

Abstract

[cat] El present Treball de Fi de Grau (TFG) consistirà en un estudi centrat en l’anàlisi i la investigació de la figura de la dona al segle XVIII, desmuntant els conceptes d’estètica i feminitat, a partir de la pintura d’aquesta època, des de la producció de sis artistes, rellevants i singulars d’aquest temps i de tota la Història de l’Art. La finalitat és estudiar i aprofundir en la ideologia de gènere del segle XVIII, pretenent incidir en els símbols i modes de representació de la figura de la dona, el seu rol dins aquesta societat i les presents desigualtats. Així, es planteja una proposta per a estudiar i fomentar l’art del segle XVIII, el Rococó i el Neoclassicisme, i, la producció de les dones artistes, a més de la representació de la seva figura en l’art i la societat, amb un treball articulat segons la perspectiva de les idees estètiques i de la teoria de gènere.

[eng] The present Final Degree Project (FDP) will consist in a study focused on the analysis and the investigation of the woman’s figure of the 18th century, dispelling the concepts of aesthetics and feminity, taken from the painting of this epoque, of the work of six artists, relevant and unique of this time and of the entire History of Art. The purpose is to study and deepen into the gender ideology of the 18th century, aiming to influence the symbols and ways of representation of the figure of women, their role in this society and the present inequalities. Thus, it’s proposed to study and promote the art of the 18th century, Rococo and Neoclassicism styles, and the production of women artists, in addition to the representation of their figure in art, with a work based on the aesthetic ideas and the gender theory perspective.
