“Alferes provisional, cadàver efectiu”. La petjada dels alferes provisionals a Mallorca (1936-2000)

[cat] El rang d’alferes provisional fou creat per l’exèrcit sollevat durant la Guerra Civil espanyola (1936-1939) com una solució davant la mancança d’oficials que hi havia a l’inici del conflicte i que, tal com indica el seu nom, seria de caràcter temporal fins que finalitzés la contesa. Els aspirants a alferes es formaven a acadèmies situades als territoris que controlava el bàndol rebel i Mallorca no en va ser cap excepció. Precisament, a ca nostra, es coneix l’existència d’una acadèmia per a la formació i entrenament d’aquests nous oficials que ajudaren a l’esforç bèl·lic dels insurrectes, encara que els estudis i les referències sobre aquesta són gairebé inexistents. Un cop acabat el conflicte, un grapat d’aquests alferes mallorquins seguiren en contacte fins a arribar a agermanar-se i integrarse dins d’un dels lobbys més prominents del franquisme: la Hermandad de Alféreces Provisionales. En aquest treball esbrinarem com fou la seva presència i impacte tant a Mallorca com a la resta de les Balears.

[eng] The rank of provisional second lieutenant was created by the Nationalist army during the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) as a solution to the shortage of officers at the beginning of the conflict. As its name suggests, it was intended to be temporary until the end of the war. Aspirants to the rank of second lieutenant were trained in academies located in territories controlled by the rebel forces, and Mallorca was no exception. In fact, it is known that there was an academy on the island for the training and preparation of these new officers who contributed to the insurgents' war effort, although studies and references about it are almost non-existent. After the conflict ended, a handful of these Mallorcan second lieutenants remained in contact, eventually forming strong bonds and integrating into one of the most prominent lobbies of Francoism: the Hermandad de Alféreces Provisionales. In this work, we will explore their presence and impact both in Mallorca and the rest of the Balearic Islands.
