Violencia de género en el noviazgo adolescentes: los mitos del amor romántico y las redes sociales

Abstract

[spa] La adolescencia y primera juventud es la etapa en la que se establecen las primeras relaciones de pareja. Es durante este periodo que se empiezan a desarrollar ideas, estilos y/o percepciones sobre el amor, las cuales tendrán un impacto en la edad adulta, ya sea de forma adaptativa o no. La violencia hacia las mujeres en las relaciones de pareja es un problema social de enorme magnitud. Los diferentes estudios analizados revelan cómo los diversos mitos que existen sobre el amor romántico y la idealización de éste, pueden dificultar la percepción de situaciones de violencia y propiciar su tolerancia. A todo esto, la era de las nuevas tecnologías, junto a las redes sociales, suponen unas nuevas y potentes herramientas para ejercer este tipo de violencia. Es por este mismo motivo, que el presente trabajo de final de grado, pretende analizar la relación existente entre los mitos del amor romántico, las redes sociales y la violencia de género.

[eng] Adolescence and early youth is the stage in which the first relationships are established. It is during this period that ideas, styles and/or perceptions about love begin to develop, which will have an impact on adulthood, whether adaptive or not. Violence against women in relationships is a social problem of enormous magnitude. The different studies analyzed reveal how the various myths that exist about romantic love and its idealization can hinder the perception of situations of violence and encourage its tolerance. In addition, the era of new technologies, together with social networks, represent new and powerful tools to exercise this type of violence. It is for this reason that this final degree thesis aims to analyze the relationship between the myths of romantic love, social networks and gender violence.
