Caracterització varietal i seguiment d'infecció de Xylella fastidiosa al banc de germoplasma de la UIB

Abstract

[spa] El cultiu de l’ametller per a la producció d’ametlla és un cultiu molt important a les illes balears, especialment a l’illa de Mallorca. Les recents infeccions han posat en perill la viabilitat d’aquest cultiu, concretament la infecció per Xylella fastidiosa. En aquest estudi es realitza un monitoratge anual de la infecció a un banc de germoplasma amb una col·lecció d’individus de distintes varietat amb les mateixes condicions. L’altre punt d’aquest estudi és el seguiment de les distintes varietats presents al banc de germoplasma de distintes variables de creixement i producció durant el seu primer any després de la implantació, a fi de documentar el comportament d’aquesta espècie durant quest període juvenil.

[eng] The cultivation of the almond tree for the production of almonds is a very important crop in the Balearic Islands, especially in Mallorca. Recent infections have endangered the viability of this crop, specifically Xylella fastidiosa. In this study, an annual monitoring of the infection is carried out in a germplasm bank with a collection of individuals of different varieties with the same conditions. The other point of this study is the monitoring of the different varieties present in the germplasm bank of different growth and production variables during its first year after implantation, in order to document the behavior of this species during this youth period.
