Diseño y cálculo de construcción de un complejo industrial

Abstract

[spa] La construcción de estructuras industriales es una actividad de gran importancia en el desarrollo económico de una zona, pero también en su desarrollo urbanístico, estético y social. En la práctica totalidad de las ciudades del mundo un considerable porcentaje de la superficie urbana se dedica a suelo industrial, lo que significa que los ciudadanos hacen uso también de estos espacios, es decir, hacen vida en ellos, de una manera comparable al resto de áreas urbanas. Es por ello que los proyectos de este tipo deben, además de cumplir con los criterios funcionales establecidos en cada caso, responder a necesidades de los ciudadanos e interactuar con su entorno con coherencia para lograr la máxima comodidad tanto para usuarios como para el resto de habitantes del lugar, mejorando así la calidad de vida de las personas. Este proyecto define el diseño de un complejo industrial y comercial atendiendo a esos principios. En concreto se plantean las construcciones destinadas a albergar las actividades de una ficticia empresa dedicada a la venta y reparación de embarcaciones semirrígidas en una parcela actualmente libre del polígono industrial de Can Valero en Palma de Mallorca. Así, en este trabajo se incluye el diseño arquitectónico y constructivo y el cálculo estructural de dos naves industriales, así como de los espacios exteriores de la parcela y su comunicación con el entorno. La mayor de las naves, con una superficie de cerca de 1400 m2 y estructura mixta de acero y hormigón armado, estaría destinada a un uso esencialmente comercial, alojando las actividades de exposición y oficinas. La segunda nave, con la misma tipología estructural, alojaría el taller de reparaciones y cubriría un área de aproximadamente 1000 m2. Finalmente se exponen los resultados obtenidos y las conclusiones alcanzadas, que deberían servir para la correcta ejecución de las obras correspondientes en el caso de que se tratase de un proyecto real.

[eng] Building industrial structures is a highly important activity for the economic development of an area, but also for its social, aesthetic and urbanism development. In practically every city in the world, a considerable percentage of the metropolitan area is assigned to locate industrial use, which means that citizens also use those spaces in their daily lives, in a comparable frequency to the rest of the metropolitan areas. That is why this type of projects must, besides satisfying the functional requirements needed in each case, respond to the needs of citizens, as well as coherently interact with their surroundings in order to achieve as much comfort as possible for users and for the rest of the population, thereby improving people’s quality of life. This project defines the design of an industrial-commercial complex attending to those principles. The specific constructions intended to accommodate the activities of a virtual company specialised in selling and repairing semi-rigid boats (RHIBs) in a currently free plot of land in Palma de Mallorca’s Can Valero industrial park are presented. Thus, this assignment includes the architectural and constructive design and the structure calculation for two industrial buildings, the outdoor spaces in the property and their communication with the surroundings. The bigger building, covering an area of nearly 1400 m2 with a mixed steel and reinforced concrete structure, would have a mainly commercial use, accommodating exhibition and office activities. The second building, with the same type of structure, would accommodate the repair workshop and it would cover an area of approximately 1000 m2. In the end, the obtained results and the reached conclusions, which should suffice to correctly execute the corresponding works if it was a real building project, are exposed.
